This article describes where the Navision License file is stored on SQL Server.

As default, the license information is saved in the master database in a table
called $ndo$srvproperty. If the license file is deleted from this table, then
you will be asked to upload a new license file the first time you connect a Navision
Financials client.
With version 3.70, there is a new option to save the license file "Pr. Database".
Select this option under File | Database New or File | Database Alter (Remember,
this requires the "Pr. Database" granule). If this option is selected, then the
license will be stored in the Navision Database in the table $ndo$dbproperty instead.
