Jobs update for Navision 5.0 SP1
Introduction
The Jobs Update for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) is now available.
This Jobs Update enables users to use the flexibility in the purchase order to
receive and invoice separately for a job in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP1.

Some functionality in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 was changed in Microsoft Dynamics
NAV 5.0. This Jobs Update implements the missing purchase orders and service management
integration in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP1.
Problems that are corrected in the Jobs Update for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0
SP1
• If you post a purchase order as Receipt or as Invoice, two job ledger entries
will be created. This behavior may occur because the costs are considered two
times in jobs.
• If you partly post a purchase order after you receive the purchase order,
item ledger entries are not updated by using the value in the Invoiced Quantity
field. However, if you look up the Unit Cost field in the "Average Cost Calc.
Overview" table, the Cost Amount (Actual) field is displayed as 0 for all entries.
• If you post a purchase order as Receipt or as Invoice, the Total Cost (LCY)
field of the Job Ledger Entry table becomes 0 after you run the Update Job Item
Cost batch job.
