When you try to install the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 Platform update rollup,
you may receive the following message from the installation program:
Insert the 'Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision 4.0 SP3' disk and click OK.
You receive this message because the security in Windows Vista disallows you
to install the update rollup unless you are an administrator. Even a user who
has administrative rights must run the installation program as an administrator.
To install the update rollup without receiving the message, follow these steps:
1.
Right-click the appropriate installation program. For example, if you want to
install the U.S. version, right-click the Platform Roll-up Microsoft Dynamics NAV DK 4.0 SP3 (KB931841).exe file.
